Fire win! Fire win!

Well hello there ladies and gents and kids of all sizes. This is Billy Concarney here with a quick update of how the finals went last night at the fish bowl.

The finals pitted the second seed Hackers facing off against the juggernaut Fire.

The first period saw the Fire rattle off 4 goals thanks to the help of Justin Logan who grabbed a goal and two helpers.

After the first Fie had a commanding lead of 4 zip.

Second period saw more of the same as the Fire added 5 more to their totals and this one was done.

The Hackers broke Jason’s shutout in the third and added two more, but the Fire added their 10th goal of the night and the fat lady was singing loud and clear. The Fire end the season with a well deserved championship.

Props to Joe Murphy who was named the playoff MVP and had a total of 20 pts in the three games.

So that’s all we got for this season, but stay tuned, we have a new season right around the corner.

Thanks to all for your support!

Be well and stay safe everyone!
