Semi Recap

Hackers faced off against the Slayers while the Titans faced off against the Sabres.

Bothe game were decided by one goal so a great way to decide who gets to the Big Dance.

In The Hackers game, the Slayers came out fast and furious scoring the first four goals before the Hackers grabbed two. The Slayers finished the first with a goal and led 5-2 after one.

The second saw each team trade a couple and after the second the Slayers were up 7-4. But we all know that the Hackers dont quit and led by their fierce captains and one Adam Pettigrew, they clawed their way back into the game scoring 5 goals in a row in the third. The Hackers ran into some penalty trouble late in the third and the Slayers got within one on a power play goal, but thats all she wrote.

Bob Strum shut the door in the third to give his team the chance to win.

Real starts in this were Adam Pettigrew for the Hackers with 4 gaols and Adam Larder at the other end. If he didn't stand on his head most of the game this was a blow out for the Hackers.

Hackers win this slug fest 9-8

the Titans faced off against the league's top dog Sabres.

This was a great game, even all the way through. Nothing exciting, but the Titans managed to keep the Sabres quiet on the score sheet. The Sabres led 1-0 after one, but the Second saw the Titans grab three goals while the Sabres could only muster one. It was 3-2 after the second...and thats how it ended.

Goalies played great, teams played great and this was a clean low scoring play off game. Just the way we like it!
