So, let’s get it started!

Sabres vs Slayers

Slayers had everyone out except the Dugganmiester himself. The Sabres had everyone.

After looking at the scoresheet, and feeling that pain…the Slayers got beat with another 12 goals against. Marty Kane is officially the worst goalie in the game, to which some will say, tell me something we don’t know!

The Sabres scored a bunch on some broken plays. Kane let some weak ones in. Two more saves it’s a tie. 

Sabres were led by Jonathan Hunson and Rylan Smith who each had 4 goals and two helpers, while Jeff Withers snagged not one, but two Hatties for 6 goals and 1 assist. A close one but still Kane needs to be better. 

Sabres win 12-10

Chill vs Hackers

The Hackers were missing Kevin Kennedy and started the game with Marty Kane in nets. Oh oh…

The Chill were missing Troy Windsor to start this one.

Last week Craig The Gargoyle Burgoyne stood on his head. This week…not so much. But it wasn’t all his fault. A few errant plays and the Hackers machine found the back of the net fast and often. The Hackers were led by the dynamic duo…Joe Murphy with 5 goals and 2 assists and Geoff Briggs who had a hat trick and 2 helpers. Throw Kyle Bradbury in the mix with his 3 goals and 3 assists. 

The Chill man O’ hands, Shane Erb had a four goal night. But this one belonged to the big dog on the back end…Myles Raymond who ripped a slapper that changed direction some how, twice, yet he still got credit for the goal…but some things come with consequences…can you guess what this one was? Hackers steam roll over the Chill 17-6

Fire vs Lynx

Lynx coming off a 12 goal performance last week. Fire looking to start s streak. 

This one was close and saw both keepers play a great game. The Lynx seem to have their chemistry figured out led by captain Stu Whidden. He had 2 goals and 2 assists in this one. Eric The Big Gun Gale had a goal and 3 helpers. Over on the other side of the floor, no real stand outs, but some great overall play. A little choppier than we want to see it, but now you know right?

Lynx win 7-5

This weeks Knapper Player of the week is the bright spot on the Slayers, Mr Jeff Withers. He grabbed 6 goals and 1 assist to take home the honors. Way to go Jeff.
