It's been a long time coming but the HFHL is back on track and ready to roll starting tomorrow night. Yes, the ball drops at 8:30 Oct. 24th and it will be interesting to see if teams can turn things around, maintain the momentum or maybe just show up for a game.
There will be some notable changes as the injury bug has hit the league hard in the past few weeks. Some new faces will step into play and they could prove to be game changers for many reasons.
I know this reporter is looking forward to getting back at it after the long lay-off.
Due to the fact that we have been without news, I have nothing to report...other than I have a new pair of socks.
They are comfortable and don't leave those ugly elastic lines around your ankles. Oh, and I also heard a nice song the other day on youtube. It was called Red Neck Love Song and was written by Moshbegosh. You might want to check it out.
Well that's all I have to say for now, but come Tuesday morning...I'm sure that will change.
A worthy NHL note is that P.K. Subban has just signed an endorsement deal with the makers of Halls Cough Drops. When asked why they chose him, their comment was simply "He is the best "D" man in the NHL who most closely resembles our products" Get it...cough drops...must be a goalie thing.
This is Billy Concarney saying so long and remember, if you show up to your game in a dress, someone's liable to ask you out on a date and that probably would not be a good thing for them or for you...but it sure would be interesting wouldn't it.
See you all tomorrow.
By for now!
