Halifax Floor Hockey LeagueHappy New Year everyone! This is Billy Concarney here and I just wanted to take a minute to bring you all up to speed on the upcoming season.
First of all, Congrats to the "Misfits" for tunring in that undefeated season. Wasn't that something?!
Next Monday, January 10th, there will be pick up starting at 8:30 until 10:30. Everyone is invited especially the "new guys and gals". This is an opportunity for the captains to see the new players and scout the old so they can be better advised as to who they should pick for the season.
This season, ALL PLAYERS must sign a waiver and pay their league fees BEFORE they can play the first game. If the first three games go by and you still haven't paid or completed the waiver, well then guess what?! You won't have to because someone else is going to take your place.
So take this as your formal invite to come on out and play. The league has sent and email out to everyone who played last season, or at least the ones that they have an email address for. If you played but didn't get the email, it's because no one has your contact info. The best thing to do would be to contact the Commish through the trash talk site and get him that information pronto . If you aren't on the list, you can't play! If you want to invite a player into the league, it has to pass the executive and the "New guy or gal" MUST come out to one of the pick up nights so we know what we are getting into...and better yet, so THEY know what they are getting into!
Have a great rest of the week and we'll see you Monday!
This is Billy Concarney saying so long and remember...no pay, no play!
Be well everyone!
